F.A.Q – creating new logon with the existing username

Does System allow creating new logon with the existing username?

  • If there is an existing active logon, then you will not be allowed to create another logon using the same username.
  • If you create a new logon and the username existed in either the “Not Active” or “Deleted” status,then you will be allowed to create the new logon with that username.
  • As a Best Practice, any time you set a logon to “Not Active” or “Deleted” please add something such as “_old” to the end of the username as well as the email address under user settings. This will help to eliminate potential conflicts.
  • As a Best Practice, we recommend that you always use a persons email address as their user ID.
